The hull:

  • Hull has been dry docked and is sandblasted twice, repaired where needed and painted.
  • Hull is measured and found solid, both outside hull and all inside hull walls. We will receive the report with hull measurements.

Engines and mechanics:

  • Main engine is a Bergen diesel from 1986 (for a period Bergen Engines was owned by Rolls Royce Marine). The engine has been serviced and works well.
  • Help engines are 2 x Caterpillar, both new. Producing kW for each must be documented.
  • The ship has bow and sternthrusters, overhauled.
  • Several cranes on the ship, one crane is brand new.
  • The A-frame crane in the aft has lift capacity 11 tons.

Structural:

  • Bow is moderated.
  • Helicopter deck is new and has hydraulic carrier for passengers to easily move from helicopter deck to reception area in the bridge. The deck also has a fuelling system. The deck is foldable to fit inside the bow.
  • Diver “beach club” in the stern can be lowered 2 meters under sea level.
  • Standing height is some places as low as 195 cm (my guess) but are approved according to minimum requirements for standing height.

Systems:

  • All ventilation and AC are new, and the work related to ventilation is basically finished.
  • All the navigation equipment (Furuno?) is already purchased and in storage. Console for the navigation equipment in bridge must be made.
  • Security systems and equipment is in storage and comes with the ship.
  • Huge fresh tank capacity accompanied by advanced and efficient water makers and high-pressure water tanks.
  • Huge fuel capacity and reach up to 7.000 nm. The boat has been used for circumnavigation (twice).
  • New ballast pump.

Electrical:

  • Electrical work is also almost finished but needs to be completed. Transformers are of older age but are checked, megged (checked for stray current) and found all well.
  • A room and data wiring are prepared for serving as a data centre. This can be utilized later.

Interior:

  • High quality kitchen and kitchen machines
  • Well-equipped and spacious cleaner/dryer room with professional washing machines.
  • All rooms look very good and are close to completion.
  • Inside furniture are in storage and come with the boat.
